"Naturopath as teacher" is one of the Naturopathic Principles I follow.

The main premise of this principle is for each client to be empowered with the knowledge of what is going on with their body, and therefore have more control over their long-term health.

It is a priority to only provide herbal and nutritional support that is of the highest standard.

This means that I will only recommend brands that I am confident maintain the highest standard of quality ingredients.

Bio

I am a degree qualified Naturopath with a special interest in metabolic disease, supporting the transition through perimenopause, and immune health, particularly viral resilience and post viral syndrome.

Before I became a naturopath myself, I turned to naturopaths and herbalist quite often to help me recover from a few different health challenges. The first challenge was a non-resolving case of Bali belly. Modern medicine was not helping so I followed a recommendation to see a herbalist. The treatment was challenging, but when I finished it I couldn't remember ever feeling as vital and energetic as I did then.

Another challenge was in my 30s when I struggled with adrenal dysfunction and excessive fatigue. Once again natural medicine helped me amazingly after I sought out the help of a Naturopath.

It was around this time that I came to the realisation that my career as a Business Analyst was not fulfilling me, but was actually having the opposite effect. It was draining me.

This is when I made the decision to start investing in paths that invigorated me. First was Yoga, then came Naturopathy.

Yoga

I did my yoga teacher training with Shri yoga in Brisbane and loved every moment of the training and felt so blessed to be able to devote an entire weekend every month to deeping my learning of the practice of yoga.

Naturopathy

I studied a Bachelors Degree of Health Science specialising in Naturopathy and graduated with Distinction.

Once again, feeling so blessed to be in the position to be able to study something I was so passionate about.
